What are these suicide bombings but collective punishment of Israelis? If there were no checkpoints constantly monitoring who gets in there`d be a great many deaths among Israeli citizens, as there were in the years of intifada. It hasn`t stopped yet, it`s being contained.
Yesterday a man with an eleven inch blade was halted at a checkpoint into Israel. His intentions were clear. The bomb factory discovered in Nablus (and the owners given a slap on the wrist, quite strangely) was another instance of intentions. |
