That is true Israelis didn`t vote for President George W Bush. However, the people of Israel have accepted large amout of United State`s taxpayers money. Israel has also accepted large amounts of American Arms, US help in bombing Syria, and emergency shipments of ammunition when the war against Hezbollah went wrong.
Israel did this whilst President George W Bush was President of the United States of America. Prez Bush is merely now asking that Israel returns the favour that he has so generously given Israel.
In other words Bush regards Israel as owing him bigtime, and the debt will be paid by Israel by returning the occupied territories to their righful owners the Palestinian people. |
