| We always, as humans, try to ascribe "magical" properties to something human and natural. If anything, this says more about humanity that judaism, Hinduism has been around longer than Judaism, or if you think about it, so have Zoroastrians, and have been persecuted for centuries now in what is now Iran, and still they have survived. It says more about the human condition than anything else, we can also learn something from the Tibetan Buddhist, who have lost everything and have been persecuted, and yet have never taken up arms to defend themselves, nonviolence is their model, they will not use force to get back a land that is their Shambala, their promise land, for doing so makes the people into monsters, no longer worthy of the land they won, by force. |
