A Christian is one who "follows" Christ.
I am not speaking of Judaism as it is today, where in SOME cases one must denounce Christ as Messiah to be considered a part of Judaism. Or one must adhere to other "Jewish" doctrine to be considered unified.
I am speaking of living by Torah, as Christ did [He was, in fact, the Living Torah]. He taught us Love over Law, He also taught us that not one dot nor tittle would be removed from the Law and that He did NOT come to abolish it, but to fulfill it. We should still be striving to do the same, while we understand that God is the ONLY One righteous and that it is ONLY by His righteousness we are saved. We are saved by GRACE through FAITH in Him, the incarnate Word of God. If we truly believe in the Word of God, be it before incarnation, during AND after (as expressed by the Holy Spirit through the Scripture of Christ`s Witnesses, we would live by it. The Word of God is eternal, from beginning to end. |
