| Christian Zionists come mostly in two distinctly different categories. They share a belief in Meshiach - but disagree about the role Jews play regarding Meshiach. Some, the "Pre-Millenialists," believe that all Jews must be converted as a precondition before Meshiach comes. The others, the "Post-Millenialists," believe that Jews must become more observant and relocate to Israel as a precondition for Meshiach to come. Both kinds of Christian Zionists vastly outnumber Jews. Those who encourage Jews to become more observant and to relocate to Israel are allies, very close to traditional and orthodox Judiasm, differing with Jewish theology on the issue whether this will be the first or second appearance of Meshiach. Think carefully before rejecting ALL Christian Zionists, because the post-Millenialists encourage alliyah and want Jews to become more observant - they do not want to convert Jews. |
