| Are you against settlements because you are effrayed(!)that Israel would annex such territories or because Arabs react violently ? Jews should have a right to live anywhere. More than 1 Mio Arabs live in Israel and no Jew should live in the West Bank/Gaza !!! Please explain your reasonning? Your editorial is weak as it does not give any serious argument. It would be interesting that Haaretz provides arguments for its position and gives opponents space for counter-arguments. The settlers run a risk to live in a foreign country, called Palestine, but why should that be an issue, if the land they cultivate is unexploited ? Such poorly argumented editorials are only calling for emotion and not reason, look at talkback # 3. |
