| We all have such a short, expedient memory. Give me reparations, I`ll forget my anger and pain. Put a few Jews in the army and the massacre of them by the army never happened, it`s just an incident of history, a detail. The one thing that set us apart as Jews was always our collective memory, and even that is slipping away now because memory is not expedient. There should be no Jews in Germany, and certainly not in their army. My ancestors cry out against this. |
