With America building a missile shield in Europe coupled with ongoing recruiting of former eastern bloc countries into NATO and the EU, it is not surprising that Russia would support and supply Americas foes. This trend will only get more pronounced as America and other western powers encroach upon Russias neighborhood. With American forces operating in Iraq, Afghanistan, Turkey, and building bases in Romania and Bulgaria, they are daring the Russians to respond.
