| Free will is central to Jewish life according to Jewish Law. However, the reform movement did so much damage to the future of the Jewish people that in a few years, their status and stature as a once huge movement, is in sharp decline. The solution for them is not to attempt to `add more tradition`, rather the solution is to admit that the emtire premise was false and that modern orthodox Torah observance works in a modern world and thrives in the Jewish State. Eric Joffie can make a positive contribution to the Jewish people if he would openly admit that the foundation of the reform movement was wrong and that the Torah is not to be feared but rather imbraced as our only future.
