| Actually reform is far from being the beginning of death for Judiams in US. It is a steppingstone and an intro for those who want to be more jewish. After experiencing reform, Usually they then end up in a more traditionally inclined synagogue. This has been my observation, and is also a recently documented fact. Plus, there will always be a need for diversity, as one size fits all does not work. So rather degrade the reformniks, you should thank them for providing the rest of us with more people. |
