| Having been born and bred in Lebanon (before I migrated to Australia), I was brought up with the belief that Israel should not exist. As I matured in age and in mind, I fully accept and condone the right of the Jewish people to have a Jewish state. In this respect, I congratulate the hawk-turned-dove president and all people of Israel for the 60th anniversary. But what I still cannot accept is the sequential suffering of the Palestinians. W |
