You have shown the ulterior motives of every Kosovar Albanian. Your people might have been subjected to the brutal policies of Milosevic, and rightly was he convicted. But for decades the real terrorists and race haters in Kosovo was not the Serbian minority, but the Kosovo "liberation" groups, who attacked and intimidated the small Serbian population there in the hopes of merging Kosovo with Albania. There will be no Kosovar independence, just a transition period in which Albania gets to steal land that is rightfully Serbia?s.
I agreed with prosecuting Slobodan Milosevic. Under his leadership, the Serbs did implement some very brutal policies against different minority groups in the former Yugoslavia. But separating Kosovo from the Serbian nation is openly meddling in the Serbia?s internal affairs in a way that also compromises Serbia?s territorial integrity. Kosovo has been part of Serbia since even before the existence of Yugoslavia; it was part of the Serbian state that broke away and achieved independence from the Ottomans in the 19th century. Plus, one wonders how much protection the Serbs in Kosovo will enjoy, once Kosovo is handed over to the Albanians (which is exactly what will happen). This does not even cover the historic, national and Orthodox Christian significance the region of Kosovo has for the Serbian people. Any partitioning of Kosovo from Serbia smacks of a politically expedient policy that does not take into account the Serbs? national interests, and will most likely later lead to an attempted genocide against the Kosovar Serbs.
