The Latin Patriarch should just butt out.
"God made this land for all three of us..."
What religious text does that come from. Or is it just a presupposition? Or does the Latin Patriarch know God`s mind and speaks for Him? Note that it is up to Israel to compromise and staunch the "forces of evil".
Boring. Irrelevant. Isn`t it time for the Latin Church and the Greek Orthodox Church to come to blows, in their season of brotherhood, over who gets to wash which scrap of wall in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher?
By the way, Jesus was raised by his loving mother Mary here in this land to be a good observant Jew in a Jewish polity called "Israel". |
