It is alright that Sabbah expresses his inner feelings, rather than the correct reality: it is part of our region`s mentality.
But to try and change the historical facts is not Catholic to my mind; because we opening up a Pandora`s Box; it coult shoot in many ways.
Jerusalem is part and parcel of Jewish history and theology, which the Christian adopted its sanctity due mostly to the Jewish roots of the Apostle, from here to jump and allocate the same place in the Muslim theology, is too far fetch of a claim.
Lets leave points of these magnitude ly, otherwise the Arabs, to which Sabbah originates might just have a pretty historical claims in regards to some grievances from the Judaism. |
