| Everyone in Israel (and the Palestinians as well) that the "2-state solution" and "territories for peace" are dead-ends and only led to misery for both Jews and Arabs. Now, I am glad to see people are "thinking outside the box", making it clear on the one hand that Jews will not be forced out of their homeland in Judea/Samaria and yet a solution can be found for the political aspirations of the Arabs of Judea/Samaria. The Arabs can not be forced to sign a "peace agreement" like the Left wants, so what is needed is an UNOFFICIAL modus vivendi like the one proposed here. I happen to be an acquantaince of the writer, he is an engineer, not a political scientist, and this gives him a clearer view of reality than the Yossi Beilin`s have of the situation. |
