Jim to say Israel is a racist and apartheid state simply shows that you`ve never been in that country. I have and what I saw was a multiracial society. I alsp saw hundreds of Israeli Arab students in the universities, I saw Israeli Arabs staying in five star hotels in Eilat, I saw Arab women in the same maternity wards as Jewish women. No apartheid signs to be seen anywhere in the country.
The Afrikaans word `apartheid` referred to the separation by race of the citizens of the same country. The people referred to today as Palestinians (an Arafat creation) ain`t Israelis so the word apartheid is not applicable. |
