because israel`s position LACKS "rightness", and the players involved in its government KNOW that it does; but LACK the political "courage and confidence" it takes to put a stop to it.
other than that; your theory would do little to stop anything and would instead ADD to the growing world awareness of israel`s total disregard for human rights; which is something it DOESN`T need in these times when its true nature is already being more closely scrutinized than it ever has been before...
you must be terribly naive to think that the "quartet" relies on israel for anything; when in fact it is ISRAEL who relies on THEIR good will. the days of israel`s "bluff and bluster" and acting with impunity are quickly coming to end. |
