| If the Quartet thinks Har Homa building is an obstacle to negotiations, Livni should demand that they also 1) reject the PA position that they "will never accept a Jewish State" as contrary to the Quartet position of "2-states for 2 peoples" - and endorse Olmerts statement that "nobody can negotiate with me who does not accept the Jewish State", and 2) acknowledge at the same time that the ongoing rocket firing from Gaza is a major violation of the Road Map, for which the PA is accountable, and that no concessions or substantive negotiations need take place until the attacks on Israel stop permanently. If they don`t do this, Israel should simply ignore and humor the Quartet until President Giuliani is inaugurated in January 2009. And keep building in Har Homa, E-1 and elsewhere to assure a "contiguous" State of Israel. |
