A few weeks ago the leader of the Danish Red Cross,Jørgen Poulsen was elected to country`s Parlament .His election was no doubt caused by a Mother Theresa image he projected,caring for the World`s poor and persecuted.
Since he can`t be in the 2 places at the same time,the RC has terminated his employment.
But no,Jørgen Poulsen demanded and got a golden parachute,about 150.000 $ from the RC .
As it came out on the TV news from his co-workers and journos ,the first thing he reads in the morning are stock market quotations and the mostt frequent cell-phone calls on his frequent trips abroad in his RC capacity have been from his stock broker.
Now the Danish RC is worried how to explain part of the money collected for the needy ones are to go to one with a huge salary who didn`t want to relinquish his cushy job art RC. |
