| Its easy for an outside to talk in terms of the right balance not being struck. So, lets see, was the balance right when there were regular suicide bombers ripping the flesh of civilians sitting in restaurants? It is true that a state can go too far but unless there is strong evidence that what is being done doesn`t add to security of Israeli citizens, this is more plain anti-Israeli garbage. What has happened to the rate of deaths in Israel since the current measures have gone into effect? With respect to Gaza, it is a hostile entity that is is (a) sworn to Israel`s destruction and (b) is lobbing artillery in Israel. In fact, Israel is being far too pacifist in the face of this provokation and danger to its citizens. Anyway, why is the RED CROSS looking to Israel to help with Gaza. Hamas isn`t lobbing artillery into Egypt. Let the Egyptians provide humanitarian relief. |
