50,000 centrifuges? Who cares. They can have 5 million centrifuges enriching uranium to 3-5% and Iran will be no closer to having a bomb.
The only thing that matters is the amount of uranium being enriched to 90%+ weapons grade level. Right now Iran`s centrifuges have been confirmed to only be enriching to 3-5%. Currently Iran has ZERO kilos of weapons grade uranium for building bombs. That means ZERO nukes for Iran.
Natanz is the most inspected and observed nuclear site in the world. There is no reason to worry until Iran actually enriches to weapons grade levels, no matter how many centrifuges they install for powering their civilian program.
Everyone freaked out when Iran went to 3,000 centrifuges. And Iran hasn`t used the 3,000 for weapons. Now everyone is freaking out all over again. |
