| Incest can be a problem. There was a case of a Doctor in the States who dealt with IVF and AID. Years later it turned out that he himself was the donor for about 37 women in his area, meaning they all had children from the same father. The concern for possible incest is mentioned in a Responsum from Reb Moshe Feinstein, who suggests a non-Jewish donor is preferable to minimise the likelihood of incest. |
