nannette none of the countries u mentioned claims to be a democracy like israel does. if israel wants to be so it comes with responsibility. if there is racism existing then it should be sorted out, really quickly rather than deflecting.
the problem here is its state racism, not just individual racism. i noticed on my last trip to israel the arab areas looked pretty crappy when compared to netanya...am assuming everyone is paying tax right? so y do the jewish areas get more development?
racial profiling at airports n borders pretty bad, i got pulled up before getting to ben-gurion airport coz my taxi driver was arab!? he told me it was normal and we get `special checks` before getting into the airport. which we did.
