| The Nazi Olympics of 1936 strengthened Hitler`s regime and was interpreted as a message that the word did not care about his anti-Semitic policies. The next Munich Olympics ended up in 11 Israeli atheletes murdered and a feeling among most Israelis that incompetence among the German authorities contributed to the tragic outcome. So, not surprisingly, many of us will not be looking forward to Munich`s 3rd try. |
