| Esther alleges that the resignation of former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin in 1976 , was catastrophic for Israel. Following the election of Menachem Begin in 1977, as Prime Minister, President Anwar Sadat of Egypt came to Jerusalem to start peace talks between Egypt and Israel. The peace has held for now over a quarter of a century, and countless lives of Israeli soldiers and civilians have been saved, as well as the lives of Egyptians. |
