| Yes, Poland was not Denmark. Poland was not smack in the middle of Western Europe and close to England and the British Intelligence Service. Poland was Germany`s back yard, away from prying eyes and so the perfect place to for the Nazis to get away with anything; not to mention that it was also a land where the Occupation conditions were so harsh that the Poles themselves lost 2,000,000 civilians by 1945. No, Hitler couldn`t have gotten away with holding life so cheap in, say, France. |
