| No compromise is possible, Israel will never accept Abbas` idiotic proposition that Israel is only "a state where Jews and others live". Arabs accept THAT every time they don`t walk across the border, lest they get SHOT. This is not recognizing Israel`s right to exist as the Jewish homeland, as the UN, Quartet and Bush only last week demanded. Abbas rejects ending the conflict. The UN Plan of 1947 spoke of "Jewish State, Arab State". So the Arabs still want an "Arab State", but they are back to not recognizing a Jewish State. "Palestinian" is meaningless, because before 1948, the Jews of the area were also called "Palestinian" (Dayan`s ID card with the Brit Army listed him as "Palestinian" when he got his eye shot out fighting Nazi Syria). Palestinian Jews are now called "Israelis". Israel is the UN-mandated "Jewish State". Ship Abbas back to Tunis, tear up Oslo, since the PLO has reneged. Palestine Arabs show they neither want nor deserve a State. |
