| Olmert now considers he has the power of prophecy in addition to his ability to outwit the law.I suggest that he is wrong,on both counts,that he will ultimately face a jail sentence,for his financial cronyism and that a two state solution is not the only answer.We must also ask which two states he is talking about.Is he talking about Gaza and Israel or is he talking about Palestine and Gaza or Israel and Palestine ? I suggest that there is no need for yet another muslim state as there are close to 30.The West Bank and Gaza are cantons of Israel similar to the Swiss situation .Parts of these cantons should be joined to Jordan,where large Arab populations would prefer to live in a muslim state. Jordan is the Palestinian homeland,leaving Israel and Jordan,which was exactly what was envisioned many years ago.Any other solution is unjust. |
