From the point of view of the three in Annapolis, so far so good. Now they must face their constituency. What could help I think is an immediate follow up of actions: for Abbas- declare a truce with Hamas, on the condition that they end the rocket attacks on Israeli civilian centres. Hamas will agree to observe that and announce an openended hudna. Israel agrees to open all road blocs in Gaza. Release of Shalit and Regev.
For Olmert, immediate dismantling of 12 outposts and announced freeze on all colonies. Work at Maale Adumim ceases. Release of palestinian prisoners including Barghouti.
As ofr Iran, it will attain nuclear capability. It is inevitable. It will be less a threat if the conflict is solved, but they will attain it. If action is taken against them, it will be WWIII.
