While I do not like Shas, Yishai has very well summarized the reality. One would think Olmert the big negotiator and business dealer would have done much better.
He will hurt Barak and Livni and elevate Netanyahu`s chances. The way things are going to go as well, as Olmert chatters about peace and a Palestinian state in 2008 and qassams fall on Israel, Lieberman`s chances to be PM get better. No one thought Sharon would ever become PM either.
One can only dream of a strong, courageous, ethical, and principled Israeli PM who will stand up for Israel. None of these are them however. |
