| Ever since Oslo I in 1993, Israeli gov`t policy has always been that civilian deaths, in any place besides Tel Aviv and the center of the country, are acceptable where the alternative of a robust and vigorous defense policy could jeopardize the so-called peace process. When our Palestinian peace partners were blowing up buses daily in Jerusalem during 1995-6, Saint Rabin and his FM Peres openly declared that the victims were "sacrifices for the peace process". For the past 14 years these madmen have been screaming "peace". Finally in 2005 they declared that their ultimate confidence building measure was to sacrifice and expel the residents of Gush Katif on the peace altar. They swore it would bring a comprehensive peace. The only problem was that reality struck hard the following year with a two front war in Gaza and Lebanon that caused over 1,000,000 civilians to flee for their lives, and the IDF to lose its first war. Just asking the question shows how foolish and evil Amos Harel is. |
