| Cipora said "Iran`s worries are well deserved...Let them worry". Iran`s worries ARE well deserved, and legitimate. But Iran`s worries will melt away unless Israel ACTS to exploit their worries. If Israel just lets this opportunity go by without acting on it and making Iran`s worries a reality, Iran wins. Non-action by Israel right now is handing Iran a victory. It is handing Iran a "What me worry? You worry" card for them to play against Israel at a later date. If Israel doesn`t immediately strike and rip Syria out of the influence of Iran, the Syrian/Iranian relationship will survive this weak moment in time and heal to be stronger than ever. Even if you hate the idea of Peace with Syria, at least recognize the damage it would do to Israel`s much bigger enemy, Iran. Support a Syrian peace treaty, if for no other reason than to crush Iran`s support and to destoy Iran`s foothold in Israeli`s backyard. Don`t just waste this opportunity. |
