for the past several decades jews worldwide have had the option to live in israel. this applies especially to orthodox ones who pray 3x/day about returning to the land. well those prayers are empty when they talk the talk and don`t walk the walk, and god is smart enough to know what can and cannot be done. as mr. olmert himself said to a crowd of nefesh b`nefesh arrivals 2 summers ago in israel, if a million jews would have moved to israel after 1967 then none of these things (gush kaitif expulsion, settlement freezes, etc.) would be happening. but they didn`t, and so israel is stuck with a dwindling population and the rest of the world out for its blood.
so to the OU, the americans, canadians, brits, aussies and the rest of the jews who dictate from abroad: you unwrapped the gift you got and threw it back in the giver`s face - so don`t expect a welcoming countenance for it. but as for olmert and his criminals, they ultimately will be held responsible for the hell they unleash |
