i think it`s horribly sad that since 9/11, with the help of pro-israel elements within the government, that the united states has stooped to this sort of stigmatizing. it does more damage to our "proclaimed" ideals than anyone can even start to imagine; not to mention the damage done to students and staff of these schools and to the communities in which they`re located. especially when the community, members of its educational system, and administrators of other schools within the community, are all voicing their support.
"one of it`s graduates" admitting to joining al-Qaida? holy shit! then how many other schools in the u.s. need to be shut down "pending review"??? there`s been considerably more than just "one" of those!
i also remember reading, and subsequently researching, about the witchhunt perpetuated by members of "government" and pro-israel media at the "khalil gibran academy", and i was disgusted by what i read. to me; the destruction of ms. almontaser`s commitment to an ideal is unforgivable; and those who perpetuated it of are worst sort america has ever produced. it is interesting to note however, that the current principal is jewish; now imagine that! i wonder what the "pipe-wipe" has to say about that? |
