| Yeah, and it is a good example why not to negotiate land for peace with the Arabs. My son attended NCSU in 1998. One of the other students in a history class he was taking was a Christian Egyptian. The boy had absolutely no knowlege of the peace agreement made between Israel and Egypt. He had never been taught about the Six Day War and the amazing Israeli victory. When confronted by the teacher with the facts, his reply was "we must have won because we have the land!" It was only after he researched the topic that he realized the revised history that he had been taught. In a way, he was right. The peole with the land do win. |
