| I don`t think knowitall could ever have been to Israel. Israeli Arabs enjoy all the same privilages that Jews do without the obligations. Even so The Universities have a high proportion of Arab students The hospitals have many fine Arab doctors. There are many Arab members of Parliament. I think it is understandable that there have to be security restrictions that infringe not only on Arabs by also on the Jewish population. There are road blocks, security checks entering public places. In the disputed territories the check points and security barrier have been extremely successful in thwating suicide bombers and other potential terroist atrocities. The main obstacle to peace is terroism, unfortunatley terrorism is the raison detre for Hamas so it is unlikely to cease. |
