| Well Mr Knowitall you don`t do your name justice. If only Israel were allowed to live in peace in her pre 1967 boarders she would be quite content. The unprovoked wars of 67 and 73 left the victor - Israel in control of the Golan, West Bank, Sinai and East Jerusalem. It was a great shame that Egypt refused to take back Gaza which it previuosly held and Jordan had no wish to get the West bank back. However Jordan and Egypt did enter into peace agreements with Israel. When thousands of Jews were kicked out of Arab countries they were absorbed into Israel and were not left to be refugees. These Jews of course received no compensation for their land and property that was confiscated by the Arabs. The Palestinian refugees should over the last 60 years have been absorbed by Arab countries. Instead they have been kept in squaler by the Arab league, which banned any absorbtion and Unwra. If there is a future Palestinian state it should absorb these poor people. |
