"with entire reserve battalions failing to train in full life-fire exercises for periods of up to five years"
The public needed to read a report for this? These things were known by everyone already before the war. Ammunition shortage under these circumstances will have been the least of the problems.
What struck the public (apart from Katyushas) during the first days of the war was the arrogance of its leaders with vacuous pronouncements galore, completely contradicted by events. Has the army done anything to correct that? Has the government done anything to correct that? |
