| Those on the far left and arabists fail to understand that Americans abhor terror. Americans also will support democracies over totalitarian entities and movements. In general, Americans like order, quick and reasonable solutions, and feel uncomfortable with emotionalisms. They do not like blackmail, nor being stabbed in the back. Americans, therefore, will tend to be more sympathetic to Israel, a country that seems at least familiar and predictable. |
