They then turned to the Soviet Union (a little too late, thanks to the delays caused by Britain`s failure to reach an "accommodation") and were defeated there too. The world owes Britain a deep edbt of gratitude for holding the line for democracy before America was dragged into the war by Pearl Harbor. |
