Ahmedinijad is already playing the endgame on this issue. It`s over, and like always, Israel and the US don`t even know how to win.
Ahmedinijad has redefined victory to mean that Iran has a civilian nuclear program and there is nothing the world can do about it. Whatever plans Iran may have once had to build nuclear weapons, Ahmedinijad has realized that just isn`t going to happen.
Now he is repeating his same "Victory" speech over and over to whomever will listen as an effort to re-define the conflict so that he can pull himself out of the political fire.
Iran is cooperating with the IAEA because they know they have no choice. Now the IAEA is keeping Iran`s only mass-production level enrichment facility (Natanz) from ever enriching a single kilo of Uranium past 5%.
Without any 90%+ enriched uranium, Iran`s dream of nuke weapons will remain just that. A dream.
There will be no Iranian bomb anytime in the near future. Especially not before Ahmedinijad is out of office. |
