| Its not a question of this or that kind of transport. An overall integrated transport system involves many types of transport. Park and ride systems are becoming very popular in European cities. You park your car on the outskirts and are whisked into the city center quickly by bus or tram (not many cars on the roads) for a minimal fee. If a rail system is late it is due to bad management, not the system. Israel should be proud of its developing rail system. It is still growing and inevitably has teething problems with rapid expansion. |
