| Well, Germans will have to stop paying for the mistakes of a government of theirs that does not exist since the end of World War II. Most German people involved actively in the war are now DEAD. The ones left are the ones who either were children at the time, and as such suffered quite a lot as well during the war, ie. famine, bombings, violations at the hands of the soviets, etc!, or the ones who were not at all born at the time. There other countries involved in crimes against humanity paying compensation to victims and respective families at all?!... What about the inquisition in the Iberian Peninsula, the crimes committed by the USA against black minorities as well as on foreign soil through state terrorism, and many others not worth mentioning here! It is all a question of perspective: unfortunately the History of Mankind is full of horrendous atrocities, especially against minorities and the weakest! |
