These people are not buying homes in Peki`in out of a desire to bring about integration and foster warm neighborly relations. The makeup and origin of people attempting to move to Peki`in points to something different altogether. Has anyone asked why they are

Peki`in is a mixed village that has had a continuous Jewish presence until the last member of the Zinati family left several years ago, and the fact that the Jewish presence ended seems to be disturbing to these people.

I suggest that people ask themselves why people from settlements in the West Bank where they were known to not live in harmony with their neighbors are suddenly prepared to move to the Galilee to a predominantly non Jewish area. Don`t kid yourselves. It`s not to foster peace and brotherly love.
