I am not sure if reason can make it past your prejudice, but it has been two years that we have been saying that the people did not vote for Hamas overwhelmingly, but to no avail with you over zealous pro israeli types.
The voting was in two ballots, one for the party and the other for the local representative. The fatah party ballot won by a far shot, while the Hamas took power of the legislative through the local ballot because at the local/community level, they are not tainted with the financial and political corruption of fatah.
The majority supported the Fatah political platform, but wanted clean government. Get it? I bet not. |
