There are few Germans left of the generation which cheered Hitler and did his bidding.

The rest seem to be getting tired of being blamed for what they did not do.

Here in the US we have folks insisting upon "reparations` for slavery.

My ancestors fought for the Union. I never owned a slave. And, unlike the Bush family, I never made a fortune importing slaves for the folks down south.

In simple terms, I owe nothing for slavery. Moreover, I paid some dues during the civil rights movement.

The demand for reparations, after a certain point, becomes absurd.

We are there with Slavery, and Germany has been paying for a long time for it`s sins.

I can understand why the Germans are less than endeared by the latest demand.

Israel made a deal to be the guardians of the trust fund given to them by Germany.

Over 55 years, if that money was well invested. . . . was it well invested?
