| A quarter century ago there was much concern over the "Islamic Bomb" which Pakistan was developing with the complicity of the US and China, as well as financing from Saudi. Many thought the first would be tested on Tel Aviv and that the destruction of Israel was imminent. The exact date in the late 1980s when Pakistan assembled it`s first bomb remains unknown in the public record. The date when one was first tested is almost certainly over 10 years later. |
