| You`re right that loyalty is an important part of democracy. But what happens when your state lacks a constitution that protects the rights of minorites, a state that openly treats Arabs as second class citizens, a state that has a seperate and unequal education system, and a state that occupies a people denying them basic human rights. Had you not been born a Jew in Israel, but commited the terrible crime of being born an Arab I`m sure you wouldn`t have the same views Ms. Alicia. |
