Once again this story shows that pressure and complaining will get results - Shame on you, her classmates parents not to give Aviv a chance, a chance at finding herself within a regular environment (what if it were your child).
Shame on you, the administration for buckling-in to pressure and barring the child from class before even finfing a solution first by working with the parents and the child and if neccessary educating the other parents.
This article is grossly incomplete and gives absolutely no background information on the circumstances.
And finally, I feel Aviv`s parents should have addressed the issue with the daycare prior to signing her up, because it seems that can could also benefit from some "educating".
By the way, if this is how this daycare behaves, I would NEVER even consider placing my special needs kid in there!!! |
