I agree with you completely. My daughter worked with autistic children, and I learned quite a bit about the problem. This is a total disgrace. What kind of a country do we live in, where the voices of the masses win out over a helpless little girl and an entire shameful situation. It makes me ashamed and sorry for trusting all the glory of making aliya 27 years ago. It seems that each day brings new disappointments. The school situation is shameful. The treatment of special physical and mental problems is shameful. The ruling members of our government, whether they are involved in crimes of any kind and getting away with it, is shameful. It all boils down to who has the money to make a comfortable life for themselves, but the lack of caring for others.
I keep hoping that one of the super wealthy billionaires here, will finally part with some of their wealth and set things in order. So what if they give a few shekels to some organization; tax deductable. But open hearts??????? |
